Our Children, Youth & Family Ministries:

At FBCI we strive to be an intergenerational community that worships, grows and learns together.  We aim to engage children & youth to know, follow and serve Jesus, and to equip and empower families to fulfill the spiritual mandate of Deut. 6:4-9.

We are a member of Plan To Protect®️ and follow best practices for safeguarding and abuse prevention.

JR. & SR.  High Youth (Gr. 6-12)

FBCI Youth meets the first four Thursdays of each month in the newly updated Youth Room from 7:00-8:30 p.m for fun, food, faith and friends.  The aim is to engage youth with the person and message of Jesus and to empower them on their faith journey .  We desire to be a place where they feel connected to a faith community, where they belong and feel valued as a child of God, where they can grow in relationship with Jesus and where they can serve and live out their faith. Youth Sunday Service (Gr. 6-12)

Bi-monthly, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, there is a Sunday Morning Youth Service for Jr. & Sr. High students held in the downstairs Youth Room. Students are led through a time of worship, Bilbe study, faith-based discussion and prayer by a team of dedicated and screened volunteers.

B.L.A.S.T. - Believe Learn And Seek Truth (SK-Gr. 5)

Children begin in the service at 10:30 am and are dismissed to their own program following the time of prayer and worship (11:00 a.m.).  A dedicated team of screened volunteers help children to discover Jesus and learn Biblical Truths through stories, crafts and games in a safe and caring environment. We desire to help children know, grow and serve Jesus as part of God's family.  B.L.A.S.T. is held the 2nd-4th Sundays of each month, allowing the children to remain in the service on the 1st Sunday of each month for Communion. Following Plan To Protect®️ Policies and Procedures, we require all children 6 and under to be signed in/out by a parent or guardian.

Nursery (0-4 years):
Our fully equipped and recently updated nursery is staffed during the morning worship service time.  Dedicated and screened volunteers will care for your little ones in a safe and caring environment.  Little ones can be dropped off starting at 10:15 a.m.  Following Plan To Protect®️ Policies & Procedures, we require all children 6  and under to be signed in/out by a parent or guardian.
