Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat.  When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.  He fasted for forty days and forty nights and afterwards was hungry.  The tempter approached and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread.”

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.
